WE AIM TO OFFER AFFORDABLE DENTISTRY WITH AN EMPHASIS ON QUALITY NHS TREATMENT AND EXCELLENT SERVICE
There are currently three NHS charge bands depending on the treatment needed
Covers an examination, diagnosis and advice. If necessary it will also include x-rays, a scale and polish and planing for further treatment.
Covers all treatment included in Band 1 plus additional treatment such as fillings, root canal treatment and teeth removal.
Covers all treatment included in Band 1 & 2 plus more complex procedures such as crowns, dentures and bridges.
Within two months of completing a course of treatment, if more treatment is needed from the same charge band i.e. another filing, there is usually no extra charge.
However, if after two month of completing a course of treatment you will have to pay the NHS charge brand for any further dental treatment received.
Certain treatments are guaranteed for one year and can be replaced without charge.
If emergency/urgent treatment is needed you will only have to pay the Band 1 charge. Most emergency/urgent treatments can be done in one appointment, however, if more than one visit is required to complete your emergency/urgent treatment then the Band 1 urgent charge is all that you will pay.
Once your urgent course of treatment is complete you may be advised to make another appointment for a separate course of non-urgent treatment and, in this case, the relevant band charge will apply.
We offer all treatments available on the NHS to our patients including, for example, root treatments of molar teeth at a cost of £51.50. (as included in Band 2 charge)
For many patients all NHS dental treatment is free or subsidised - please see our NHS Exemptions page to find out if you qualify.
